Accelerated Digital Transformation During COVID Pandemic

Situation

A leading environmental services company embarked on one of the largest and most transformative digital initiatives in its history, launching mid-year during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program required scaling to nearly 500 team members including external resources, implementing new customer-facing capabilities, and standardizing operations across multiple service areas. The company chose to run this program internally rather than co-leading with external consultants, placing full responsibility on an internal leadership team, many of whom were performing in such roles for the first time.
